Installation, At „Kling-Klang-Karacho“ ESC im Labor Graz 2005
The installation consists of five simple, styrofoam chairs in a room. By means of a decentered motor fixed underneath the seat, they are set in motion and start to move, to shake and rumble, and to create a loud sound. „Restlessly and neurotic, they move through space, touch each other and then again push each other away until they reach their goal: a corner or a wall, alone or collectively – in this arbitrary way, they organize their days that end when their batteries are flat.“
