Performance – fake opening of the for 2009 planned „Futter Lab“– Linz 2006
The famous Swedish artist Søren Søckebør was invited to create a piece of extraordinary architecture in the centre of Linz. It was his attempt to build something fragile and sustainable, but not to forget about the esthetic moment next to the fluidity of the blue Danube. This intervention provided a meaning to the urban space and to the involved individuals for a long period. As in his former works like „the global need for flock of sheep“ and „sheep-ray refuge“ at ps1 and the latest “dokumenta” he reflects and gets absorbed in a feedback towards his fridge and the bed.
